Paid Search Specialist (1-3 Years Experience)

Full-Time | Digital Marketing | Paid Search + Paid Social

Onsite- St Louis, MO

Compensation based on experience: $60-70k

About the Role

Our client is seeking a growth-minded Paid Specialist/ Digital Marketing Specialist with 1-3 years of hands-on experience supporting or managing paid search and/or paid social campaigns.

You'll support paid media strategy across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads, and LinkedIn Ads-learning from senior strategists while owning day-to-day optimization and execution. Don't have experience in all the platforms (maybe just 1 or 2), that's ok! Our client fosters an environment of growth and upskilling.

What You'll Do

Paid Search & Paid Social Execution

  • Set up, launch, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Review keywords and targeting against KPIs, making adjustments to improve performance.
  • Craft engaging ad copy and test variations to improve CTR and conversion rate.
  • Assist with building and refining custom audiences for paid social campaigns.

Optimization & Performance Management

  • Monitor campaign performance regularly; adjust bids, keywords, audiences, and messaging based on data.
  • Support efforts to improve relevance across keywords, ad copy, and landing page experience.
  • Use automated bidding strategies (e.g., Target CPA, Target ROAS) and learn more advanced techniques over time.

Testing & CRO Support

  • Help run A/B tests for landing pages and ad variations; track results and identify learnings.
  • Learn the fundamentals of multivariate testing (training provided).

Analytics & Reporting

  • Pull and analyze data from platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4), SEMrush, SpyFu, and Ahrefs.
  • Summarize performance insights for internal teams and contribute to client-facing updates.
  • Support call-tracking workflows and assist with evaluating conversion quality.

Collaboration & Learning

  • Participate in internal and client meetings to understand goals and provide campaign insights.
  • Stay up-to-date on platform updates, industry best practices, and emerging tools.
  • Work closely with senior strategists to expand your paid media skills and strategic thinking.

What You Bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, paid search, paid social, or performance marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and/or Meta Ads
  • Familiarity with keyword research, audience targeting, and ad copywriting.
